Cultural Tourism

As of February 1, 2025, an exciting cross-regional cultural tourism project – initiated and lead by the Tiroler Festspiele Erl – has started, using the title "Cross-border Tourism: Culture as Engine", and setting a significant impulse for sustainable cooperation between cultural organizers and tourism professionals in the Kufsteinerland – Inntal – Chiemsee – Kaisergebirge – Mangfalltal regions. The initiative promotes long-term cooperation between cultural organizers and tourism associations from Austria and Germany and creates a solid foundation for continuous joint activities and projects.

Project partners are the Tiroler Festspiele Erl (Lead Partner), the Festivo Festival, the Kufsteinerland Tourism Association, the Immling Festival, the Schloss Amerang and Chiemsee-Alpenland Tourism. The project will be completed by January 31, 2026.
