Sophia Liu Piano

The young Canadian pianist Sophia Liu is already one of the most sought-after artists on the international scene. Born in Shanghai in 2008 and raised in Japan, she moved to Montreal at the age of seven. She has won several prizes at international piano competitions. Highlights of her concert career to date include performances at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, at the International Piano Festival of La Roque-d’Anthéron, at the International Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdrój, the “Chopin and His Europe” Festival in Warsaw, the La Grange de Meslay Festival, Place des Arts in Montreal, the National Theater and Concert Hall in Taipei, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
