Nannerl packt aus

Conductor: Hannah Eisendle
Concept, direction and moderation: Karin Meissl
Orchestra of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl

Everyone knows Wolferl - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. But his sister Maria Anna Mozart? She was also a musical prodigy, composing and performing with her brother on the concert stages of Europe. But when Nannerl reached "marriageable" age, her career came to an end - as 18th century society would have it. Many women composers disappeared from music history in a similar way. The family concert unpacks interesting stories: How did girls live and compose at the time of the Mozarts? Who were the forgotten female composers - and how does their music sound today? A curious musical search for clues full of discoveries and surprising perspectives.
