CARMINHO – the great voice of Portugal!

Fado is more than a music genre, it is a way of life. And hardly any other singer gives this Portuguese song form as much power, passion and depth as Carminho. The young Fadista is considered one of the greatest voices of our time. Her sensational performances are celebrated as musical revelations.

As an artist, author and interpreter, Carminho is closely connected to the tradition of the Fado genre and continues it masterfully. Her music is a homage to sun, sea, love and longing, and she brings fresh air to traditional Fado without denying its roots. Her music is balm in today's time, a powerful and passionate statement about how Fado can sound today – and a hymn to life and its beauty.
