OPEN DAY

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Tyrolean Festival Erl invites you to its Open Day and provides exciting insights into the world behind the stage and concert hall. With free admission, visitors of all ages can expect a varied day full of music, crafts, technology and encounters.

Anyone who has always wanted to know how an opera or concert production is created can discover areas that are otherwise not open to the public on this day - from the workshops and production hall to the costume shop and the side stages. Festival staff will demonstrate how stage sets are built, costumes made and lighting, audio and video technology used to bring a performance to the stage.

In addition to guided tours and exhibitions, public rehearsals and workshop concerts invite visitors to experience music from a completely new perspective. Families and children can look forward to their own hands-on program: They can make instruments, try out conducting and playfully discover how music is created.

The day offers the opportunity to get to know the Tiroler Festspiele Erl not only as a venue, but also as a lively place full of creativity, teamwork and passion - and to experience the festival at first hand.
