National competition 2026

prima la musica is the largest Austrian music competition for children and young people and takes place annually in all federal states. Young musicians can showcase their skills as soloists or in ensembles in front of an expert jury. The competition promotes musical talent, offers performance experience and encourages enjoyment of music. Particularly successful participants qualify for the national competition, where Austria's best talents come together. in 2026, the Tyrolean Festival Erl will host the competition week and the grand prizewinners' concert.
