Proud, yet also a bit wistful, we present to you our upcoming winter program for the 2020/21 season on our website. Wistful, because we would of course have liked to do this in our usual ways. The date for a press conference for the presentation of the program was set for April 2 – which was no longer feasible with all the developments since then. Proud, because we are convinced that we are presenting a program with which you, dear visitors, will certainly have joy.

One innovation we want to particularly emphasize: namely the price structure of the operas of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl. Over the years, we have continuously developed – from the summer festival in the Passion Play House to a year-round cultural operation with 4 festival seasons and two venues. This was made possible for us not only by the great support of our audience, but also by our financial sponsors. Now it was time to open the festival even further and adapt a categorization that has carried the festival for many years. From the winter season 2020/21, you can therefore experience the festival operas in numerous price classes – starting from €30. We hope to fulfill the claim of making culture experienceable for "everyone" and thank our sponsors heartily for their continued support, which enables us to be an integral part of the Austrian and international cultural scene.
