Easter Without Audience. Festival Focuses on Broadcast in TV and Web
Daily rising infection numbers prove that the virus has us firmly in its grip. The cancellation of the Easter Festival in Erl is the only logical consequence, not only due to the official requirement, but also and primarily for the protection of the guests.

Full of optimism and under strict adherence to hygiene measures and regular testing, we began rehearsing with our orchestra on site on March 9. After a postponement and subsequent adjustment of the program, we wanted to send an audible signal for the vitality of art and culture in the country.

Nevertheless, there is good news: ORF III will broadcast the St. Matthew Passion from the Festspielhaus Erl on Holy Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 9:10 a.m. In addition, the closing concert of the Easter Festival will be available free of charge as video-on-demand on the website of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl starting Monday, April 5, 11 a.m.

Purchased or reserved tickets for the cancelled performances will be automatically cancelled for you. The amount will be credited to your customer account. This credit can be used for future festival performances or, if desired, refunded. You do not need to send the already sent tickets back to us.

For questions, we are available to you by phone Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 05373 81 000 20, on site or by email at karten@tiroler-festspiele.at.
