At least as extensive as the safety concept in the foyer and hall of the Festspielhaus are the measures we have implemented behind the stage and during rehearsals. These are not visible to visitors of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, which is why we would like to give you a small glimpse behind the scenes of how we ensure safe coexistence of orchestra, choir and all staff.
All participants have already been attentive to each other even before the start of rehearsals, and it also applies here: keep your distance where possible and wear masks where the distance cannot be maintained. During rehearsal and event times, we tighten our requirements and there is a general mask requirement for everyone in the house. At the start of rehearsals, the arriving artists and participants must present a negative Corona test, contact between different staff groups such as musicians and administration is reduced to a minimum. The distances between artistic performers during rehearsals and concerts will of course also comply with legal requirements. Additionally, the state-of-the-art ventilation system of the Festspielhaus guarantees complete fresh air supply with simultaneous air extraction upwards – especially with regard to the formation of aerosols, this is an essential factor for a safe stay in the Festspielhaus.
These and many other measures work together like in an orchestra and result in an effective safety concept to enable safe operation both in front of and behind the stage.
We are convinced that in this way we can offer you concert enjoyment of the highest (safety) quality!
