La Guitarra Erl opens on August 15 with a spectacular solo concert by fingerstyle hero and 2024 Grammy winner TOMMY EMMANUEL. With his unique style on the acoustic guitar, his virtuosity and charisma, the exceptional Australian guitarist amazes and delights worldwide.

Entirely under the sign of the festival motto is the concert evening on August 16 with the JULIA MALISCHNIG PROJECT. One can look forward to a musical-choreographic total work of art with a sensational line-up of international and national musicians and dancers. The renowned Carinthian artist Harald Schreiber will also bring fine art to the stage – he designs the impressive stage set. The concert opens with the award-winning short film Angelus Novus Reloaded by Robert Hofferer.

Not to be missed is the impulse concert LA GUITARRA NEXT GENERATION IN CONCERT on August 17 in the foyer of the Festspielhaus, in which young guitar talents present themselves as rising stars and masters of tomorrow.
The flamenco highlight of this summer takes place on August 17: The five-time Latin Grammy winner TOMATITO is one of the greatest flamenco guitarists of our time. With his excellent ensemble, he always opens new sound horizons. Flamenco for all senses, traditional and highly modern at the same time!

Consciously, in this time marked by crises and wars, we have chosen a life-affirming motto. Alegría tells of joy and pain, of longing and love, of light and shadow in our lives. Alegría is joy and gratitude for a feeling of life and a culture at the center of which stands the joy of life, which is contagious, which touches, which gives courage and hope and inspires.
