At the general assembly of the "Association of Friends of the Tiroler Festspiele Erl", a new board was elected last Friday: Thomas Lanner, son of the association founder, is the new president, Marcus Küchle was appointed treasurer, Anna Leisner takes over the office of secretary. Margarethe Egger was elected as vice president, secretary deputy is now Prof. Gottfried Brandner. Treasurer deputy will be Susanne Wamsler-Singer.

With the new presidency, the Association of Friends also embarks on the new era at the Tiroler Festspiele together with Jonas Kaufmann. In the future, too, the support of the association plays a major role in the success of the festival. With a revised and attractive range of benefits, members of the association can participate closely in the festival events and contribute to the success.

At this point, the festival would like to express their sincere thanks for the active support of the outgoing board around the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce Martha Schultz, the secretary Maria-Theresia Müller and the other functionaries Mag. Daniel Bretschko, Re.Rat Werner Andergassen and Reinhard Müller. With great commitment, the board has led the association through difficult times and has always strengthened the festival's back. With the establishment of the "Academy of Friends", the friends have set an exclamation mark in the promotion of young talent and thus set sustainable impulses! Heartfelt thanks!
