The 2025/26 season is available online from today. You can expect an exciting program in which not only classics like Bellini's Sonnambula, Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Wagner's Holländer and Bizet's Carmen, but also exotic works like Puccini's Suor Angelica and Cléopâtre by Berlioz have their place. Something completely new is also included again: The opera We Are The Lucky Ones by Philip Venables. In addition, there are orchestra concerts, chamber music, readings and the cross-genre Ausklang, as always with Franui and curated by Andreas Schett.

With Aigul Akhmetshina, Michael Fabiano, Pretty Yende, Christopher Maltman and Sinéad Campbell Wallace, singers of world renown are coming to Erl again. Names like Federico Colli, Francesco Piemontesi and Sophia Liu join them. With the commitment of Deborah Warner, who has been entrusted with the direction of Suor Angelica/Cléopâtre, the festival continues a red thread that brings internationally extremely successful, modern directors to Erl.
