The Chinese New Year begins on February 17, 2026. With the 26th Great Chinese New Year Concert on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 7 p.m we celebrate the start of the Year of the Horse - a symbol of vitality, elegance and forward momentum. Under the direction of Maestro Sun Peng, the program takes us through diverse worlds of sound: from festive overtures and lyrical solo concertos to colourful orchestral works that combine tradition and the present. The Wuxi Orchestra, known as the "Voice of Taihu", brings symphonic masterpieces of classical Chinese music to Erl.
