Since 1999 young top musicians from many major international symphonies meet in Erl to form the heart of the Tiroler Festspiele, its own exceptional orchestra. The musicians‘ dedication to the Tiroler Festspiele can be wittnessed in the performances, which are marked by passion, virtuosity and enthusiasm. The orchestra can vary in size depending on the needs. But the core of musicians has grown together over many years, and therefore offers a focused experience right from the very first rehearsal.

The orchestra is capable of excellence in a very broad range of musical styles. Symphonic works and opera, known and unknown, from the baroque through the romantic, all the way to contemporary music.
