Academy of the "Freunde der Tiroler Festspiele Erl"

19. - 21. April 2021

From its inception, the Tyrol Festival Erl has placed importance on the development of young or emerging talent. In collaboration with the Federal Province of Tyrol, this second Orchestra Academy will focus on wind and brass instruments that form the backbone of the modern symphonic orchestra: flute, clarinet, horn, trumpet and trombone. Under the guidance of a world renowned group of orchestra musicians, applicants can not only improve their instrumental skills, but also hone their most important orchestra excerpts, and gain auditioning experience under real-world conditions on the final day of the workshop. Winners of this mock orchestra audition will be featured in a Prize Winners Concert on
21 July 2022 and receive a cash award.
